The Albert Rivera Quartet has been 8 years in the making. Based in New York City‚ he is joined by some of the newest faces in jazz. He is committed in bringing new sounds to the peoples ears‚ keeping in mind where the music came from. Heavily based on John Coltrane’s modal aspect, Albert writes most of the Quartets music‚ using rhythm and grooves as his base. Albert attended the New School University Jazz program‚ Luques attended from Berklee College of music‚ and Zaccai attended New England Conservatory. Ralph Peterson has been a forefront in jazz and drums for over 20 years and his influence has been monumental in the jazz world..
